My perspective

Having lived all over the world and spent 25 years developing my work, I bring a global perspective to every session I facilitate. My background in dance, theater, music, and meditation, along with running my own business since 2005, allows me to offer a unique and diverse view on how we navigate our lives, and move through the world. I am deeply committed to a somatic approach to dance, fitness, and health. As a performer, choreographer, and dance facilitator, I have the ability to help individuals discover their unique self expression, release stress, find strength, and hopefully find a new sense of freedom.

Whether you are seeking ways to advance your experience as an adult dancer, embarking on a strength journey, preparing for public speaking, or are a new mother finding your way back to a new center, our work will be tailored to you.

In-Person and Virtually

One on One sessions provide an individualized experience tailored to your needs. Whether I am breaking down choreography, helping you express yourself with more intention, enhancing your musicality, or guiding you in adopting a new way of carrying yourself, we can work both in person and virtually. Dance is not just about moving; it's about how we move through life. Dance is also a discipline of the mind. Often people book in for virtual conversation sessions in combination with in person work. It’s about me supporting you to find your way!

Strength
Working out with weight resistance does not need to be punishing only consistent and integrative. It affects our health in so many positive ways not to mention enhancing how we express our movements on the dance floor.
My approach to strength training is somatic, it can help you begin to work with more attention to form and feeling. I have found that weight resistance helps me to get in touch with my power. I approach this work with a none goal oriented focus, but rather as a part of every day life enhancement. Health is cumulative!

Expression Sessions can involve two or more participants. Whether we are addressing fear of partnering, performing or delving deeper into choreography, the work we do together can hopefully be carried forward into your dance practice and give you keys to take forward. Additionally, I offer curated private group sessions by appointment only.
